KUPFticket currently offers several ways to issue complimentary tickets. Which option is suitable depends on where the free tickets are to be issued, whether specific seats are assigned, and how the tickets are to be evaluated later on<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. \u201cConfirm without payment\u201d in the point of sale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the point of sale, you can select \u201cConfirm without payment\u201d<\/strong> when selling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A valid ticket is created, but no payment is recorded<\/strong>. The ticket therefore does not appear as revenue in the settlement<\/strong>. In the ticket list, you can filter by the payment method \u201cConfirm without payment\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This option is suitable, for example, for general admission and reserved-seat tickets<\/strong> when a ticket is to be issued free of charge and no separate free-ticket statistics are needed in the settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Your own \u20ac0 ticket category for the point of sale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Another option is to create your own \u20ac0 ticket category<\/strong>. This category can be set up so that it is only available via the point of sale<\/strong> and not offered in the web shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do so, go to the ticket category under \u201cEdit category\u201d \u2192 \u201cAdvanced settings\u201d<\/strong> and disable the option \u201cSell via web\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When selling via the point of sale, you can then select this \u20ac0 ticket category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tickets are created with a price of \u20ac0<\/strong>. In the settlement and statistics, however, they are currently not shown as a separate \u201cfree ticket\u201d category<\/strong>. In the ticket list, the tickets can be filtered by the respective ticket category<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This option is suitable, for example, for general admission tickets<\/strong> where the main purpose is to record the number of tickets issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Discount code with 100% discount<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, you can create a discount code with a 100% discount<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When this discount code is used during a sale in the point of sale or in the web shop, the ticket price is reduced in full and the ticket is issued free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This option is particularly suitable for free tickets that are to be issued via the web shop<\/strong>. Tickets issued this way are shown as \u201cFree\u201d<\/strong> in the evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets booked in the point of sale can be filtered in the ticket list via the \u201cDiscount\u201d<\/strong> column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Your own POS category with a fixed 100% discount<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If free tickets are to be assigned to specific seats in the seating chart<\/strong>, you can create a separate POS category<\/strong> with a fixed discount of 100%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When selling, first select the desired seat directly in the seating chart<\/strong>. Then select the corresponding POS category with the stored 100% discount. The regular ticket price is automatically reduced to \u20ac0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tickets issued can then be filtered as \u20ac0 tickets<\/strong> in the ticket list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the settlement and statistics, however, these tickets are currently not shown as a separate \u201cfree ticket\u201d category<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This option is particularly suitable for free tickets with fixed seats<\/strong>, where seats are to be assigned via the seating chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
