General

Visitors to our website leave system-related usage data (access duration, IP address, location, paths, information on browser/operating system…) during their stay on kupfticket.com. This data is processed electronically and used for the operation of the site as well as the measurement of access figures, reach, … but of course not passed on to third parties. Among other things, we use cookies and the Matomo tool for this purpose. The data entered in the context of a ticket purchase (contact, payment information) will be shared exclusively with the organizer and necessarily the payment service provider, always within the framework of data protection legislation. When purchasing a ticket, name, email address, additional ticket personalization data such as phone number, the date of purchase, as well as information about the purchased ticket are stored on the servers of KUPFticket.com. This data serves the legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data entered by the customer will be processed electronically primarily for the purpose of contract processing and customer information and will be passed on to both the organizer and the payment service provider. The use and disclosure of this data is provided exclusively within the framework of the provisions of the Data Protection Act.

Server hosting

The servers of KUPFticket.com are part of the cloud infrastructure of Hetzner.com.

For the security of visitors to the website, we use SSL or TLS encryption (recognizable by the suffix „https://“ in the address line of the browser and the lock symbol in the browser line).

The website and the associated providers automatically collect information in the course of website use as part of so-called „server log files“. This concerns in particular:

IP address or host name
the browser used
duration of stay on the website as well as date and time
pages viewed on the website
language settings and operating system
„Leaving page“ (on which URL the user left the website)
ISP (Internet Service Provider)

This collected information is not processed or associated with personal data.

The website operator reserves the right to evaluate or check this data in the event that illegal activities become known.

Seat Selection (Seats.io)

For the interactive seat selection at events with reserved seating, we use the service Seats.io (Seatsio NV, Antwerpsesteenweg 19 bus 4, 2630 Aartselaar, Belgium). Seats.io is integrated directly into the frontend of KUPFticket.com. For technical reasons, data such as IP addresses, browser information, and usage data are transmitted to Seats.io servers in the process. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in ensuring the proper functioning of the seat selection feature. Seats.io in turn uses the following third-party services, which are therefore also active within the seat selection feature on KUPFticket.com:

Sentry.io: Seats.io uses Sentry (Functional Software Inc., 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA) for error tracking. In the event of an error, technical data such as IP addresses and browser information may be transmitted to Sentry servers in the USA. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). Sentry’s privacy policy is available at https://sentry.io/privacy/.

Google Fonts: Seats.io loads fonts via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the seat selection is loaded, a connection to Google servers is established and your IP address is transmitted. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Retention periods

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. As the data we process is predominantly related to purchase transactions, a statutory minimum retention period of 7 calendar years generally applies.

Debugging

In the event of an error, tracing data used for debugging purposes is stored via the Sentry.com platform. Sentry is operated by Functional Software Inc. (USA). The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). Performance measurements are collected via the newrelic.com platform in order to improve the operation of the website. Both services evaluate browser data such as access duration, IP address, location, paths, browser/operating system info for this purpose.

App Check-In

When using the „KUPFticket Scan & Kassa“ app designed for event organizers, access to the user’s camera is requested in order to be able to check the QR codes. No photo data is transmitted, only the QR codes determined, by means of which the check-in of the respective person is registered. The login data with the link to the respective store is stored on the end device. No further data is transmitted to third parties.

Users have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You also have the right to object to processing. Please send questions to this address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).

We collect and process personal data only on the basis of the legal provisions (Basic Data Protection Regulation, Telecommunications Act 2003).

As soon as you access or visit our website as a user, your IP address, start and end of the session are recorded. This is for technical reasons and thus constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contacting

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you send us will be stored by us and by the service provider Brevo for the purpose of processing your request or in case of further follow-up questions. If queries to the respective seller of the ticket are necessary, the data of the inquiry will be shared with him. Your transmitted data will not be passed on to unauthorized third parties without your consent.
